Prof. Dr. Mamidanna Sreedhar, a scientist, author, researcher, and technology professional with an extensive international background, has added another significant work to his growing collection of research books with the recent release of Ayurveda For Women Wellness. Published with ISBN 789349-860738, the book explores women’s health and wellbeing through the traditional principles of Ayurveda while presenting subjects that remain relevant to contemporary lifestyles.

Born in Andhra Pradesh, Prof. Dr. Sreedhar pursued his higher education in the United States and subsequently worked in the USA and Canada as a scientist with IBM R&D Labs. During his professional career, he contributed to the establishment of offshore development facilities in India, combining his scientific and technological experience with work that connected international research environments with India's growing technology ecosystem.

His professional journey has extended beyond technology. Prof. Dr. Sreedhar has been associated with scientific research across multiple disciplines and holds a number of scientific patents from the Government of India, including work relating to cancer detection. His interests have also expanded into areas such as biosciences, medical sciences, computer science, and human rights, reflected in the range of research books he has authored.

His latest publication, Ayurveda For Women Wellness, turns attention specifically toward women’s wellness. The book examines various stages and dimensions of a woman’s life through the Ayurvedic perspective, bringing together subjects related to psychology, physical wellbeing, lifestyle, traditional therapies, and personal care.

One of the areas explored in the book is the Ayurvedic understanding of women’s psychology. Ayurveda traditionally considers the relationship between the body, mind, lifestyle, environment, and individual constitution when discussing wellbeing. By examining women’s psychology within this broader framework, the book attempts to provide readers with a traditional perspective on how emotional and physical wellbeing can be considered together.

The book also discusses life-cycle care in Ayurveda. Women experience different physiological and lifestyle changes throughout their lives, and Ayurveda For Women Wellness examines these stages from an Ayurvedic viewpoint. Rather than limiting wellness to the treatment of individual symptoms, the book explores the importance of understanding health as an ongoing process influenced by diet, routine, mental wellbeing, and lifestyle.

Women’s disorders form another important area covered in the publication. The book introduces readers to Ayurvedic perspectives on various conditions affecting women and discusses traditional approaches associated with maintaining wellbeing. It also examines Ayurvedic herbs and their historical role within traditional wellness practices.

Another major subject addressed is Panchakarma and detoxification. Panchakarma is a traditional Ayurvedic therapeutic framework involving a range of procedures intended to support cleansing and balance according to Ayurvedic principles. By including this subject, the book introduces readers to one of the better-known components of classical Ayurveda and places it within the wider discussion of women's wellness.

The publication also moves beyond internal health to address skin, hair, and beauty care. Ayurveda has historically connected external appearance with broader concepts of wellbeing, nutrition, daily routine, and balance. The book explores these traditional ideas while discussing approaches associated with personal care.

Yoga and meditation also receive attention in the book. Both practices are widely discussed in modern wellness conversations, but Ayurveda For Women Wellness considers them in the context of a broader Ayurvedic lifestyle. The inclusion of these subjects reflects the book’s overall emphasis on viewing wellness as a combination of physical, psychological, and lifestyle factors rather than as a single-dimensional concept.

An important aspect of the publication is its discussion of integrating Ayurveda into modern life. Contemporary lifestyles often involve demanding work schedules, changing dietary patterns, stress, limited physical activity, and increased dependence on technology. The book considers how selected traditional concepts can be understood and incorporated into present-day routines while maintaining awareness of modern circumstances.

Prof. Dr. Sreedhar’s multidisciplinary background provides an interesting context for this work. His experience spans scientific research, technology, medicine-related subjects, and authorship, allowing him to approach subjects from perspectives that extend beyond a single academic discipline. His previous books have covered areas including human rights, biosciences, computer science, and medical sciences.

His work has also received recognition through national and international awards presented by state and central ministers and governors. Among the recognitions associated with his career is the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Award presented by the Governor of West Bengal.

At present, Prof. Dr. Sreedhar is also working as an advisor to Eastbond, Queens, and Bronx super-speciality hospitals that are currently under setup. This continuing involvement with healthcare-related initiatives adds another dimension to his work in medical and wellness-oriented subjects.

With Ayurveda For Women Wellness, Prof. Dr. Mamidanna Sreedhar expands his authorship into an area that combines traditional Indian knowledge with contemporary conversations around women’s health and lifestyle. The book brings together subjects ranging from women’s psychology and life-cycle care to Ayurvedic herbs, Panchakarma, skin and hair care, yoga, meditation, and the practical integration of Ayurveda into modern living.

The publication, therefore, represents another addition to Prof. Dr. Sreedhar’s multidisciplinary body of work. By bringing these diverse themes together in one volume, Ayurveda For Women Wellness seeks to introduce readers to the Ayurvedic perspective on women’s wellbeing while encouraging a broader understanding of health, lifestyle, and holistic care.
