Q. What inspired you to start BorneQue Men's Wear?
Mr. T. D. Sharma: "I have always believed that quality clothing should not be a luxury. Every middle-class customer deserves premium-looking garments at affordable prices. That thought became the foundation of BorneQue. Our objective has never been just selling garments; we want to build trust, long-term retailer relationships, and customer satisfaction."
Q. What makes BorneQue different from other menswear brands?
Mr. T. D. Sharma: "Our biggest strength is our Direct-to-Retail (D2R) business model. We connect retailers directly with the company, eliminating unnecessary middlemen. Even small retailers can become our authorized retail partners, receive GST billing, official dealer certification, and establish a direct relationship with the brand. This creates transparency, better margins, and stronger business partnerships."
Q. How has the response been since the brand launched?
Mr. T. D. Sharma: "The response has been extremely encouraging. Within five years, we have established our presence in over 2,000 retail stores. Retailers appreciate our business model, while consumers have shown tremendous acceptance for our product quality, fitting, and value-for-money pricing."

After successfully establishing, BorneQue is preparing for its next phase of expansion.
According to Founder & CEO Mr. T. D. Sharma, the company plans to expand into Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar in this year. As part of this growth strategy, the company has already established its Regional Office (VPOB) in Vijay Nagar, Indore, to strengthen operations across the MP-CG region.
The expansion is expected to create employment opportunities for more than 80 Sales Officers during the current year, supporting both regional business development and local employment.
CEO Mr. T. D. Sharma also shared that the company is working toward a long-term objective of building a brand valuation of over INR. 25 crore, while continuing it’s self-funded and sustainable growth approach.

One of the key differentiators in BorneQue's expansion strategy is its emphasis on India's rural and semi-urban retail markets.
